NV Col Tamarie Prosecco
Alberto and Marta run 4.5 Hectares of vines on the highest hill in the Prosecco area of Italy. They are certified organic but go much further in tending to the vines, using homeopathic teas and ferments in place of chemicals and technology. The soil is rich with limestone which gives the wine a high mineral content and citrus notes.
Harvested at the end of September, no addition of sulfites, no inoculation. Short maceration on skins. Soft pressing and then ancestral method with a minimum of 10 months before sale. Glera dominant blend of Glera, Boschera, Grapariol, Bianchetta, Perera, Verdiso.
