2019 Cantina Giardino Gaia

Cantina Giardino owns and rents vineyards in all the historical wine-growing areas, from Paternopoli and Montemarano in Taurasi, to Santa Paolina in the Greco di Tufo zone and Lapio in the Fiano di Avellino zone; amazing terroirs that deserve more attention.
Daniela & Antonio get their fiano from one of the historical area of the Fiano di Avellino appellation: Lapio and Candida; 450-500 m above sea level planted in calcareous marls, limestone and clay. Four days maceration on skins before going into chestnut botti for one year. 2019 Gaia is in my opinion the best they have made yet.
