Michael Gindl might be one of the most interesting winemakers in Austria. Refusing to use any element other than what is available to him in the winery. He uses his livestock to substitute machinery in the vineyard and even makes barrels from the nearby Acacia forest. He calls this 'closed-circuit biodynamics.' Little Buteo is named after the birds that act as pest control in the vineyard.
