When we were offered the opportunity to work with Elisabetta Foradori’s Ampeleia wines it made perfect sense for us. We love the typicity and strong regional character that Elisabetta is able to convey in her wines and our love of Tuscan wines made very excited. The wines are made in a similar manner to their Trentino sister but have a definite regional Tuscan coastal stamp. The Maremma has been long considered to be one of the most exciting wine producing regions in Italy and the Ampeleia project showcases Mediterranean varieties in the warm Tuscan sun.

A non traditional Tuscan blend made up of mostly Alicante Nero (Grenache) and then Mourvedre, Carignan, Sangiovese and Alicante Bouchet is thrown into the mix and made in the style of an Italian table wine.
