2019 Patrick Sullivan Rain Field Blend
The Cabernet Franc is fermented using carbonic maceration whilst the Pinot Gris is fermented on skins for one month. All wines are then transferred to puncheon to settle out and come together. The wine shows greater fruit weight and structure than the 2018 without losing any of its finesse. A well-structured palate of bright cherries, raspberries and spice. The wine finishes with soft tannin akin to a great Barolo.
