2021 Bloody Hill 'Villages' Pinot Gris

Rivar is the son of Timo Mayer, the charismatic and wild German native that has famously made 'Funky' wines in the Yarra Valley for the last few decades. 

It's not often you see the younger generation dialling things back from their parents style of wine making but here we are. Bloody Hill is Rivar Mayer's more fruit forward wine label. This is from a neighbouring vineyard in the Yarra, a more traditional style of Pinot Gris, with clarity and freshness that really highlight the fruit.
