Cantina Ribela Bianco IGP 2019
Located in a small valley at 320 meters in elevation, the remains of a Roman cistern attest to its recognition as a prime agricultural site since ancient times. Prehistoric and ancient volcanic eruptions have resulted in diverse soils and complex micro zones: the slopes can have silt, sand, volcanic porphyry, along with high potassium and sodium in some areas.
Foggy gold in colour, with aromas of apple, lemon, smoky earth and sweet hay. Lemon, mint, geranium, rye barley, chamomile, pink grapefruit and citrus acidity are glossed by saline minerality. Smoky earth, lemon zest and ginger linger on the zippy finish. Striking, engaging and alluring.
