2022 Das Juice Red

A bright, juicy, crunchy little number from Das Juice. There's notes of blackcurrant and black cherry- almost jubey but also a plush texture. Balanced with a savoury, herbaceous edge there's a lot going on to keep you interested.

Hand picked, and carbonic macerated. (This is a winemaking technique that is famed in Beaujolais, France). Making their red this way means it can take a chill. When we say chill - we don't mean fridge cold, take it out about 15 mins before you serve it and that's a cracking temperature.

What: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot

How: Great with antipasti and a fresh baguette. OR, put that antipasti ON a baguette and you've got a great picnic situation with this wine. Chuck it in the esky and it'll be mint.
