2024 La Figuière Rosé

This is summer in a glass. White peach, watermelon - bone dry and pale - but with actual flavour. This is one of the most delicious rosés we've tried this year - lip smackingly good. It's made from a big blend of grapes that thrive in south of France, and this is how we think a lot of good rosé should be made - taking the best attributes of the varieties have to offer to make a delicious and more complex rosé. 

This family originally hailed from Chablis- but their father needed to move to warmer climates, so here we have it! Wine makers from Chablis in the south of France. This is from 'IGP Méditerranée' which in this instance means that their fruit comes from a few different sites in the south of France - some is Provence, some is the Alpes de Provence and Languedoc etc. but if you like southern French rosé (as long as it doesn't taste like nothing - sorry you won't find anything like that with us) you'll be delighted with this wine.

How: On a balcony, in the sun. There could be some tinned fish, a light salad...a dozen oysters...and let's pretend we're actually sitting beside the Mediterranean
