2024 Ephemera Dolcetto Frizzante
Dolcetto means little sweet one in Italian - so sometimes people think that means that the wine will be sweet! Dolcetto was most likely named for it's small, sweet grapes grown so lovingly in Piedmont.
This Dolcetto is grown by the Corsini family in King valley - one of the greatest places to see the diaspora of Italian varieties in Australia. Here, Rhen and Janelle turn this fruit into a sparkling - Frizzante - style. So, quite like a Pet Nat. It's pink, and fun! But also - like all of their wines, there's a quiet elegance. A wine that might look or sound like a party wine but perhaps a dinner party might be more it's lane. A wine fit for starting a good conversation - or perhaps at the end of the night when it's only the best of friends left...
