2018 Suertes del Marqués Tenerife Valle de la Orotava Candio

Ever had a bottle of wine from the Canary Islands?! From a vineyard where the oldest vines are suspected to be up to 150 years old!! 

Think volcanic black soils - they're not the same but if you like Sicilian wine, we think you might be in the right spot. This is the kind of bottle you might bring to your 'wine friends' for something they might have never had before. If they have - it's been said in late night whispers....this is a wine for those in the know. 

Spicy and vibrant, dark fruit envelopes this wine which belies mineral, earthy depths. It's a wine for those who like a bit of a bigger, savoury red - but this is grown in the cooler, northern end of Tenerife so it's by no means 'blockbuster'.

Unfined, unfiltered. Organic.
