2022 Vins du Liban White
Have you ever tried a Lebanese wine? Well, here's your chance!
The 'Vins du Liban' like to take more recognisable grape varieties and then blend it with another, lesser known indigenous Lebanese variety. In this wine you will find Sauvignon Blanc, Grenache and Obeidi.
This is deliciously refreshing, with notes of Melon, white pepper, spice and yellow stone fruits. It's not heavy on the 'Sauvignon' tropes - maybe a little elderflower but there is much more going on. We wouldn't necessarily recommend this to a Sauvignon lover. There is a fleshy, almost oily characteristic - it reminds us a of Pinot Gris texturally. This what we would call a 'food wine' - tasty on it's own but with some food it takes it to a whole other level.
Organic - just not certified.
