2024 Saint-Esprit Le Petit Rosé
This is summer in a glass. White peach, watermelon and citrus - bone dry and pale - but with actual flavour. This is one of the most delicious rosés we've tried this year - lip smackingly good. It's made from classic blend of grapes - Cinsault and Grenache that thrive in south of France, and this is how we think a lot of good rosé should be made - taking the best attributes of the varieties have to offer to make a delicious and more complex rosé.
The label is cute, the wine is incredibly affordable for what is offered in the glass. Santé!
This is from 'IGP Méditerranée' which in this instance means that their fruit comes from a few different sites in the south of France - some is Provence, some is the Alpes de Provence and Languedoc etc. but if you like southern French rosé (as long as it doesn't taste like nothing - sorry you won't find anything like that with us) you'll be delighted with this wine. It also means you're not paying the 'Provence Premium'.
