Commune of Buttons Dry Vermut/Vermouth

Wowee this is something special. Aromatic, herbal, a touch bitter, and absolutely delicious. A unique product we think and we're absolutely stoked we've gotten our hands on some. We like this - about 60-80ml, over ice, topped with either soda water or tonic water and a twist of lemon. It's the perfect aperitif that whets your appetite for your incoming meal. Pretend you're in Barcelona, sat in one of their many gorgeous streets with a gilda or two and a hunk of bread. We sure do!

Vermut - the Spanish name for Vermouth, from Commune of Buttons, has taken Chardonnay and then they have stopped the fermentation with distilled grapes from previous harvests.

Herbs collected from around Commune of Buttons - some wild, some cultivated have then been left to infuse before blending back into the base Chardonnay. This Vermut has been aged for 2 years before released.

Where: Adelaide Hills, SA

When: NV

What: 700ml, 17% ABV.

How: Right before a meal - or - if you're us, throughout! We're thinking grilled octopus, chorizo and white beans, gildas...Spanish delights for sure.
