2023 Richard Rottiers Brouilly Beaujolais Gamay

Richard Rottiers is a top-notch producer in Beaujolais. Based in Moulin-â-Vent, Richard has some parcels in Brouilly. This is a pretty and beguiling example.

Rottier's Brouilly is fine boned, supple, with a blue fruit intensity that makes this wine so impossibly delicious. I've worked with Richard since importing his wines with St. John in London and I love that I'm able to show you an example of his wine for now Ok.Wines. Richard is deeply connected to his environment and is passionate about leaving his land in a better condition than how he received it. The detail in his wines and the quality of his fruit are beautiful examples of this.  - Miriam. 

You can drink this with the slightest chill - pop it on top of some ice (not in the ice) or in the fridge for 10-15 mins before drinking. It's not a wine to be

How: Even though this wine is lighter in style- it can hold up to Lamb (classic pair!) and even kangaroo or venison. For our vegetarians - it would be so versatile but this wine would be delicious with something charred.
