2024 Gentle Folk Sangiovese

Oof. This has been a really popular wine across the wine writer's community. It has been scored very well - for those of you who care!

What we have loved to hear about is that Gareth and Rainbo of Gentle Folk have spoken very highly of Sangiovese - it might be their favourite variety to grow and make! 

Cherry stone, assam tea, blood orange, dried and smoked herbs with dusty tannins makes for incredible drinking. If you know anything about Chianti - this is the Sangiovese from high up on the hills - not the lowlands. Incredible drinking.
