2024 Garagiste 'Le Stagiaire' Chardonnay

Barney Flanders is a bit of a legend in Mornington Peninsula. 

Miriam has been pouring his Garagiste Wines for well over a decade - back in a restaurant on Bay St, Port Melbourne that was a bit of a wine lover's hub. This wine was the beginning of a long and storied love affair with Mornington Peninsula wines. 

The 'Le Stagiaire' wines are a true expression of Mornington - being a blend of their different parcels. This year, it is 65% Balnarring, 19% Merricks North, and 16% Tuerong with some vines averaging 25 years old in age. 

This is cool climate Chardonnay at it's best, at incredible value. It toes the line between bright citrus, saltiness and moreish, juicy fleshy fruit. There's a creamy, cashew cream note that makes this wine sing. Drink now or you can hold onto it for a few years.
