2022 Yokel Chenin Blanc

Hand-harvested old vine Chenin Blanc from the Pinelli Vineyard in the Swan Valley was very gently whole-bunch pressed off to a combination of large-format oak, amphorae and tanks.

Chenin Blanc can sometimes have some seriously bracing acidity - but partial malo means that the acid is of a softer style, much more juicy. Chenin is a beloved grape by many- this one with notes of pear, and apple and a kiss of spice is just the ticket for spring afternoons. You'll notice the cutie Western Swamp Tortoise on the label - a portion of sales from each bottle goes towards helping the conservation of Australia's most critically endangered reptile.
