2023 Spinifex Clairette

We LOVE Clairette. This little known grape variety hails from the Rhone Valley in France traditionally - but where we first found a true affinity for this variety was from a wine from Provence - Petit Salé (A little salty in French) from Château de Roquefort which was a super fun, mineral, and indeed a little salty wine. 

This Clairette from Spinifex hits all of the same delicious notes! It's got this bright acid but not sour - and a salty mineral edge that is quite pronounced. There's lemon, gooseberry and just the slightest hint of passionfruit. If you like bone dry riesling - you'll definitely love this number.
