2022 Mallaluka Mataro/Shiraz

A perfect winter red! 

South Australian Mataro blended with East Australian Shiraz. The Mataro comes from the Riverland district, Ricca Terra vineyards. The Shiraz comes from our vineyard at Mallaluka, Tumblong hills in Gundagai and Hilltops, Prunevale.

We like to think about it like this: Mataro gives the black fruit, power and earth-toned hues and the Shiraz gives perfume, freshness and pepper. This isn't showing one sense of place but it is showing balance, and intrigue! Lots of delicious flavours are packed into this one bottle.
