2023 Little Reddie Leanganook Rosato/Rosé

This is some pretty special rosato (rosé). The two vineyards are above 430m - and are both on quartz, feldspar and decomposed granite. So what does this mean? We LOVE some wine grown on quartz - there's a direction and mineral backbone that is really special. Because of the altitude - the nights are cooler, and so a longer growing season. (Longer season means more complex wine). 

Plush red fruits, there is a real fruit concentration here but that doesn't mean this is sweet - it's a dark rosé but you could treat it like a light, chilled red.
