2023 Spinifex Papillon

There's a lot going on in this red blend. Part of the new guard in Barossa Valley, and 'Papillon' is so unexpected if you've only ever tried the 'old guard'.

A plush, pretty, lifted and elegant blend - this year it's Grenache, Cinsault and a splash of Counoise (a tidy little grape that adds a 'Je ne sais quoi' to a Rhone red). Raspberry liquorice, boysenberry, blueberry and lick of spice makes this lighter style red difficult to put down. It's so, so good. 

Drink it slightly chilled, or not.
