2024 Joh. Jos. Prüm Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Spätlese

This Riesling is dazzling, with aromas of fresh chervil, lemon balm and tangerine. It's acidity is mouthwatering, and is a spectacular example of Spätlese Riesling. There are limited bottles due to spring frosts limiting the yield. 

J.J. Prüm is widely considered as one of the finest producers in the world of Riesling. 

In Australia - we do have incredible Riesling, so it's not always convincing to try one from Germany at perhaps a premium price. We want to tell you - in this instance, it is totally worth it. Like drinking spring in a glass - these wines are a total expression of site that is quite unique to Mosel. They transport you. The 2024 vintage has been described by Katharina Prüm as 'textbook'.
