2024 Wangolina Montepulciano

We love Montepulciano at Ok.Wines - so much so one of our beloved pets was named after it! 

Another Italian variety from Anita at Wangolina, she makes them so brilliantly we couldn't resist. This variety originally hails from the middle of Italy - famously from Abruzzo and Marche. 

Anita's expression is deliciously mid-weighted, slightly juicy, with flavours of black cherry, plum, dried oregano and fresh black olive. It can fit effortlessly amongst a whole host of food, its a great bottle to bring to a friend's house on a Sunday. If there's a BBQ, pizza's being slung, hot dogs, veggie burgers...you name it, it's a friend of many.
